The forum augments HTML a bit to allow for easy posting of code. Indentation and newlines are preserved. If you would like to format DM code exactly as written (ignoring all HTML tags), surround the text with the <DM> and </DM> tags. This mode will also automatically highlight DM syntax just as in the Dream Maker application. To do the same without the highlighting (if you're posting HTML or C++ code, for example), simply use the existing HTML tags <PRE> and </PRE>.
Each message has a unique "id" that can be referenced from within your posts. This appears in the upper-right corner of the message. Just type id:number (eg: id:2001) in the body of your message and the forum will automatically create a link to it.
The forum also supports a number of options to display the posted messages and threads. You can set them and find out more information by clicking on the Preferences link in the header at the top of the forum pages.
